• In the mid-1960s, Hunt began acquiring land that would become DFW Freeport. That same year, Dallas and Fort Worth purchased the first 176 acres for Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.
• Today, this strategically located 550-acre international business park fronts two major highways, Interstate 635 on the north and State Highway 114 on the south, both of which have a Freeport Parkway exit. It is within Foreign Trade Zone 39.
• DFW Freeport Business Park is home to major multinational corporations, including Nissan Motor Company, American Honda Motor Company, Allstate Insurance and Federal Home Loan Bank.
• DFW Freeport was developed and managed by one of Hunt's operating and development partners, Woodbine Development Corporation.
